Ehsan Haghighat

I am a Research Affiliate with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at MIT, also a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Civil Engineering Department of UBC. Previously, I was a Postdoc Associate in Prof. Juanes group, working on computational geomechanics, assessment of induced seismicity, and machine learning. My research interest spans different areas of physical modeling including but not limited to mechanics of solids and geomaterials, computational methods for geomechanics and multiphase flow in porous media, and stochastic modeling and machine learning. I am currently focused on stochastic modeling and uncertainty quantification of geological systems.
