Christos Nicolaides

Postdoctoral Fellow

I completed my PhD at Juanes Research Group in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at MIT. I have bachelor degree in Physics from University of Thessaloniki and a master degree in Applied Mathematics from Imperial College London. My research interests focus on characterizing dynamical processes in complex networks including physical transport, epidemic spreading and reaction-diffusion systems. Possible real world applications include agents and diseases spreading, the design of optimal mitigation strategies against outbreaks and the analysis and predictability self-organized patterns formation in complex socio-technical systems.

My PhD research mainly funded by the George and Marie Vergottis Foundation.
