My research focuses on understanding the multiphysics controlling the deformation of porous rocks with a particular interest towards induced seismicity phenomena. I received my doctoral degree from the [[https://www.rwth-aachen.de/en|RWTH Aachen]] in Germany in 2017. Before joining MIT, I had been working at the [[https://www.gfz-potsdam.de/en/|GFZ Potsdam]] (German Research Centre for Geosciences) on modeling coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical processes in faulted geothermal reservoirs and on modeling the dynamics controlling the brittle-ductile transition. ---- == Publications == 1.
